Our New Year's Day grilled duck turned out great. I seasoned the duck with fresh garlic, fresh sage, salt and pepper. Nick grilled it with indirect heat, and decided when it was completely done after 1 1/2 hours that he really needs a smoker :-). I made a sauce with cherries, sage, balsalmic vinegar, soy sauce, and honey. Delicious. My side dishes were roasted red potatoes with sauteed baby bella mushrooms and fried baby spinach.
